Job description
We are seeking an experienced consultant/specialist periodontist to join a leading healthcare facility in the UAE. The successful candidate will provide comprehensive periodontal care, including diagnosis and treatment of gum disease, periodontal surgery, implant-related procedures, and management of complex periodontal conditions.
Key responsibilities
Perform comprehensive periodontal examinations and diagnosis.
Develop individualized treatment plans for periodontal and implant-related conditions.
Manage gingivitis, periodontitis, periodontal abscesses, and advanced gum disease.
Perform periodontal procedures including scaling and root planing, flap surgery, regenerative procedures, and soft-tissue grafting where appropriately trained.
Provide periodontal maintenance and long-term disease management.
Assess and manage peri-implantitis and implant-related periodontal conditions.
Perform crown-lengthening and other periodontal surgical procedures where indicated.
Collaborate with implantologists, prosthodontists, orthodontists, oral surgeons, and general dentists.
Educate patients regarding oral hygiene, periodontal health, and preventive care.
Maintain accurate clinical records and treatment documentation.
Participate in multidisciplinary case discussions, quality improvement, and continuing professional development.
