Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Sports Management, Business Administration, or a related field. 5+ years of progressive experience in sports or facility management, with at least 3 years in a senior or leadership role, ideally within racquet sports. Coaching certifications in one or more racquet sports are desirable. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead teams and inspire a high-performance culture.

Job Summary: The Racquet Sports Manager will lead the commercial and strategic growth of Zayed Sports City Racquet Sports and responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive business plan to drive revenue, enhance programme participation, and strengthen community engagement.The ideal candidate will have a strong background in racquet sports operations, programme development, and stakeholder management, with a passion for delivering exceptional experiences from grassroots to elite levels.Job Responsibilities: Commercial & Strategic GrowthDevelop and implement a racquet sport business plan aligned to the venue's overall strategyDrive court occupancy and programme participation to maximise revenue and ROIBuild partnerships with academies, schools, federations, and sponsorsIdentify new products, memberships, events, and experiences to attract diverse user segmentsProgramme DevelopmentOversee junior and adult programmes, holiday camps, social sessions, leagues, and tournamentsCurate high-performance pathways in partnership with national and international partnersMonitor participant satisfaction and continuously improve offeringsOperations & Asset ManagementEnsure courts and facilities are maintained to the highest standardsManage staff schedules, coaches, bookings, and customer serviceIntroduce technology to streamline booking and membership processesLead continuous improvement of operational processes to increase efficiencyMarketing & Community EngagementWork with marketing to create campaigns to promote services and grow community engagementBuild a strong racquet sport culture on site, including grassroots to elite involvementOrganise regular events, open days, and exhibitions to boost visibility and footfallFinancial & ReportingSet and manage budgets, revenue targets, and reporting metricsMonitor KPIs and provide regular business reports to senior managementMaintain financial sustainability while pursuing growthRequirements & Qualification:Bachelor's degree in Sports Management, Business Administration, or a related field5+ years of progressive experience in sports or facility management, with at least 3 years in a senior or leadership role, ideally within racquet sports.Coaching certifications in one or more racquet sports (desirable)Sports and facility operations managementBudgeting and financial oversightStrong communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to lead teams and inspire a high-performance culture
