Are you ready to drive high-visibility, strategic, revenue-generating projects as well as leverage Lean methodologies to lead Operational process improvement initiativesJoin the Specialty Fulfillment team as Logistics leader for the Special Handling Network (AMXL). As a Logistics leader, you will be responsible for monitoring multiple sites from operations and compliance point of view. You will be working with multiple internal and external stakeholders to achieve timely launches and operations metrics. With customer obsession and a high sense of ownership, you will utilize your skills to identify patterns and any disruptions in it. You should be able to dive deep, scrutinize details and foresee data implications. With this in mind, you'll strategically lead a team, comprising of , Area Managers and Operations Supervisors. This will complement your proactive management of healthy, positive working relationships on a day-to-day basis.Key job responsibilities Own deployment of Continuous Improvement of network standards, in collaboration with MENA Process Owners, MENA ACES and local Process Managers Monitor operations of the assigned sites and suggest & deploy improvements Serve as a liaison between the internal and external stakeholders keeping in mind the objectives, limits, conformance and information privacy Train & direct Logistics supervisors and associates for action and conformance of norms & practices Audit the sites for various operational conformances, restrictions and norms Conduct audits on based on SOPs, analyze data and propose process improvement initiatives Identify useful data accumulated from multiple sources and take necessary actions Foresee implications based on current data and trends Be organized, apt and prompt in notifying the situation, problem solve and communicateBasic Qualifications 3+ years of employee and performance management experience Bachelor's degree or equivalent, or 2+ years of Amazon (blue badge/FTE) experience Work a flexible schedule/shift/work area, including weekends, nights, and/or holidaysPreferred Qualifications 3+ years of performance metrics, process improvement or lean techniques experienceOur inclusive culture empowers Amazonians to deliver the best results for our customers.
