Electrical Design Engineer (Mid-Level) – Building Services
Location: Dubai, UAE | Experience: 5–10 years
Role: Deliver electrical building-services design for building projects from concept through tender and construction stages, working within a multidisciplinary MEP team.
Core systems: LV power distribution, lighting and controls, small power, containment, standby/emergency power, earthing and lightning protection, and coordination of ELV/ICT and fire alarm interfaces.
Design deliverables: Load calculations, cable sizing, voltage-drop and fault-level studies, single-line diagrams, layouts, specifications, and schedules using AutoCAD and Revit (BIM).
Codes & regulations: Working knowledge of Middle East authority requirements (e.g. DEWA, Civil Defence, and applicable local codes) alongside IEC/BS and NFPA standards.
Coordination: Interface with mechanical, public health, and architectural teams; resolve clashes; support MEP coordination and value-engineering.
Experience: Minimum 5 years in a consultancy environment with demonstrable Middle East project delivery.
