Requirements
Bachelor's degree or diploma in Interior Design/Architecture is required. Candidates must have 4-7 years of relevant experience in interior design documentation, technical design, drawing QC, or luxury fit-out. Strong ability to read and coordinate architectural, interior, joinery, and MEP drawings is essential. Excellent understanding of joinery, ceilings, flooring, wall finishes, kitchens, wardrobes, bathrooms, and bespoke interiors is also necessary. UAE/Dubai experience is highly preferred.

Job SummaryWe are looking for a detail-oriented Drawing QC professional to review and quality-check interior design and technical drawing packages for high-end residential and villa projects in Dubai.The role will be responsible for ensuring that all drawings are accurate, coordinated, technically complete.The ideal candidate should have strong experience in interior design documentation, luxury residential/villa projects, AutoCAD, joinery detailing, construction drawings, and multidisciplinary coordination.Key Responsibilities1. Drawing Quality ControlReview interior design drawings for accuracy, completeness, consistency, and constructability.Verify that all drawings reflect the latest approved design and client comments.Identify missing information, inconsistencies, clashes, and technical errors before drawing issuance.Ensure revisions and design changes are correctly incorporated and clearly documented.2. Design & Technical CoordinationCross-check drawings between architecture, interior design, joinery, MEP, lighting, ceiling, flooring, and other disciplines.Identify clashes and discrepancies between drawings.Check that design elements are technically feasible and suitable for site execution.Coordinate with Interior Designers, Architects, Technical Designers, Draftsmen, Project Managers, and Site Teams to resolve drawing issues.Review drawings against actual site conditions and approved dimensions where required.Raise technical queries where information is unclear or incomplete.3. Joinery & Detail ReviewReview detailed joinery drawings for wardrobes, kitchens, vanities, TV units, wall cladding, doors, feature walls, shelving, and bespoke furniture.Check dimensions, material specifications, hardware, finishes, construction details, and interfaces.Verify joinery drawings against approved interior design drawings and material/finish schedules.Identify potential fabrication and installation issues before drawings are released for production.4. Drawing Standards & DocumentationMaintain and enforce company drawing standards, templates, naming conventions, layer standards, and revision procedures.Ensure drawing packages are properly organized before issue.Verify drawing numbers, revisions, titles, dates, scales, and references.Maintain drawing review checklists and QC records.Track comments and ensure all QC comments are closed before final issue.Maintain proper revision and document control.5. Construction & Site SupportReview drawings with consideration for actual construction and installation requirements.Support site teams by clarifying technical drawing details.Review revised drawings resulting from site conditions, RFIs, design changes, or client comments.Participate in site visits when required to verify dimensions and technical conditions.Assist in resolving discrepancies between approved drawings and site execution.6. Quality & ComplianceEnsure drawings are coordinated with approved specifications, material selections, samples, and design intent.Identify potential quality issues before they reach procurement, fabrication, or site execution.Help reduce rework, site discrepancies, material wastage, and construction delays.Required QualificationsBachelor's degree or diploma in Interior Design/ Architecture.4–7 years of relevant experience in interior design documentation, technical design, drawing QC, or luxury fit-out.UAE/Dubai experience is highly preferred.Excellent understanding of joinery, ceilings, flooring, wall finishes, kitchens, wardrobes, bathrooms, and bespoke interiors.Strong ability to read and coordinate architectural, interior, joinery, and MEP drawings.
