Candidates must possess a medical degree (MBBS or equivalent) recognized by DOH, Abu Dhabi, and have completed an accredited residency in Obstetrics & Gynecology. A fellowship or subspecialty training in Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgery (MIGS) is required. A minimum of 5 years of post-board/fellowship experience as a Consultant Obstetrics & Gynecology is necessary, with demonstrated expertise in advanced laparoscopic and hysteroscopic surgery and experience managing complex benign gynecological conditions.

This has established Danat Al Emarat as a regional referral center for women with high-risk pregnancies, supported by its Level III NICU providing care for the most fragile newborns.Danat Al Emarat Hospital is seeking an experienced and highly skilled Consultant Obstetrics & Gynecology with subspecialty expertise in Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgery (MIGS). The successful candidate will provide comprehensive women's healthcare services, delivering advanced medical and surgical care across the full spectrum of gynecology and obstetrics while leading minimally invasive surgical programs. The consultant will play a key role in managing complex benign gynecological conditions, endometriosis, fibroids, pelvic pain, and other disorders utilizing state-of-the-art laparoscopic and hysteroscopic techniques.ResponsibilitiesProvide expert consultant-level care in Obstetrics & Gynecology.Diagnose and manage complex gynecological conditions using evidence-based practices.Perform advanced minimally invasive gynecologic procedures, including laparoscopic, hysteroscopic, and robotic-assisted surgeries where applicable.Manage patients with endometriosis, chronic pelvic pain, fibroids, adenomyosis, ovarian cysts, and other benign gynecologic disorders.Provide comprehensive outpatient, inpatient, and surgical services.Deliver high-quality antenatal, intrapartum, and postnatal care.Participate in multidisciplinary management of complex gynecological and obstetric cases.Ensure excellence in patient safety, clinical outcomes, and patient experience.QualificationsMedical degree (MBBS or equivalent) recognized by the Department of Health (DOH), Abu Dhabi.Completion of an accredited residency training program in Obstetrics & Gynecology.Fellowship or subspecialty training in Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgery (MIGS), Advanced Gynecologic Endoscopy, Endometriosis Surgery, or equivalent.Minimum of 5 years of post-board/fellowship experience as a Consultant Obstetrics & Gynecology.Demonstrated expertise in advanced laparoscopic and hysteroscopic surgery.Proven experience managing complex benign gynecologic conditions and endometriosis.Experience working within a multidisciplinary tertiary-care environment preferred.Previous experience in Centers of Excellence for Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgery is highly desirable.Tier 1 qualification preferred, including but not limited to:American Board CertificationCCT (United Kingdom)Canadian Fellowship (RCPSC)Australian Fellowship (RANZCOG)German Facharzt with advanced subspecialty trainingEquivalent international qualifications recognized by DOH.
