Job SummaryUCC Holding is seeking an experienced Senior Geologist Manager to lead geological evaluation, exploration, appraisal, and field development activities within its Upstream Oil & Gas business. The successful candidate will provide technical leadership in subsurface studies, basin evaluation, reservoir characterization, prospect generation, and resource assessment to support strategic exploration and production objectives.Key ResponsibilitiesLead regional and field-scale geological studies for exploration, appraisal, and development projects.Conduct structural, stratigraphic, sedimentological, and petroleum systems analysis.Identify and mature exploration prospects and drilling opportunities through integrated subsurface interpretation.Integrate geological, geophysical, petrophysical, and reservoir engineering data for reservoir characterization and field development planning.Perform resource and reserve assessments, volumetric calculations, and geological risk evaluations.Provide technical assurance and recommendations for exploration acreage, farm-ins, acquisitions, and development projects.Support well planning, drilling operations, and post-well evaluations.Manage multidisciplinary subsurface teams and mentor geoscientists.Ensure compliance with industry standards, HSE requirements, and best geological practicesTechnical RequirementsExtensive experience in basin analysis, structural geology, stratigraphy, sedimentology, and petroleum geology.Strong expertise in prospect generation, play fairway analysis, reservoir characterization, and geological modeling.Hands-on experience with Petrel, Kingdom, GeoGraphix, DecisionSpace, ArcGIS, or equivalent geological software.Strong understanding of clastic and carbonate reservoirs, fractured reservoirs, and unconventional resource plays.Experience integrating seismic interpretation, well log analysis, core data, and production performance data.Proven capability in reserves and resources estimation under international reporting standards.Qualifications & ExperienceBachelor's Degree in Geology, Earth Sciences, or related discipline.Master's Degree preferred.Minimum 15+ years of experience in the Upstream Oil & Gas industry.Experience with major IOC, NOC, or leading E&P companies.Proven leadership experience managing geological teams and high-value exploration and development portfolios.
