Overview of the role
The Senior Manager, CEO Office plays a crucial role in ensuring the CEO of the Group is well-prepared and informed for all strategic engagements. This demanding role involves creating briefing packs, tracking strategic projects, and maintaining key performance indicators. The role also encompasses significant executive communication responsibilities, ensuring that all speeches and communications reflect the CEO’s voice perfectly. Operating at the intersection of intelligence, project delivery, and executive communication, this position requires close collaboration with senior leaders across various sectors and entails maintaining confidentiality and precision in a fast-paced environment.
What you will do
Executive briefings
Produce CEO-grade briefing packs for external meetings, site visits, market tours, business reviews, and institutional engagements.
Provide information on meeting attendees, commercial significance, essential questions, and key messages to convey.
Actionable intelligence
Track geopolitical, economic, sector, and competitive developments relevant to the Group.
Convert developments into concise, decision-ready reports for the CEO.
Meeting preparation and follow-through
Coordinate preparation cycle for key CEO engagements.
Capture and track outcomes, decisions, responsible parties, and timelines post-meetings.
Ensure timely closure of follow-up actions.
Strategic project and performance tracking
Maintain an updated view of agreed priority projects, monitoring milestones and risks.
Keep clear reporting and scorecards for CEO-level priorities, producing insights and performance highlights.
Identify matters that may require CEO attention.
Executive communications and positioning
Draft speeches, talking points, and correspondence for the CEO and senior executives.
Ensure the communications reflect CEO's voice and are audience-appropriate.
Support positioning of CEO and Group with partners, investors, governments, and media.
Governance and team contribution
Support the structure and cadence of leadership meetings, offsites, and reviews.
Ensure agendas, materials, and decision records are concise and useful.
Contribute actively to CEO Office team, sharing information and taking ownership of tasks.
Required skills to be successful
Exceptional written and spoken English.
Strong project management skills, with the ability to handle concurrent workstreams.
Commercial and geopolitical literacy with a focus on regional and Middle East dynamics.
Proficiency with digital and AI tools to enhance productivity and quality of work.
What qualifies you for the role
Minimum of 8 to 10 years in CEO or executive office, strategy consulting, corporate strategy, investment banking, or senior corporate affairs.
Experience supporting a chief executive or board-level principal, handling sensitive material.
Ability to research and synthesize complex information quickly and accurately.
Strong written English skills, capable of producing high-quality executive communications.
