Overview of the role The Financial Analyst will be responsible for providing analytical and commercial support to the management team, contributing to performance reviews, operational decision-making, and improvement plans. The role involves budgeting, forecasting, and producing detailed management reports to support the company's profitability and financial objectives. Additionally, the Financial Analyst will aid in working capital guidance, commercial financial evaluations, and support annual audits, all while driving system and process improvements within the organization. What you will do Prepare annual budgets and periodic forecasts while ensuring adherence to agreed timelines. Provide quality support and structured reporting to the management team for accurate financial insights. Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly management reports and presentations for the management board. Support divisional performance reviews and conduct variance analysis. Coordinate with the finance team for general ledger reviews and manage accounting-related issues. Review, manage, and process incentives. Assist management in understanding financial metrics and influences. Advise the Finance Head on working capital planning and validate underlying assumptions. Prepare monthly cash flow statements and forecasts. Identify areas for improvement and provide early warning signals. Continuously follow up and update action initiated by business units. Offer analytical support for evaluating pricing for specific deals. Analyze monthly sales versus expected targets to gauge campaign and pricing decision effectiveness. Support stock and receivables analysis. Advise on capex and project evaluation. Recommend improvements to incentive models. Provide historical database maintenance and exception reporting for corrective actions. Support the finance team during year-end audits to ensure timely completion. Assist the team for overall development and deeper understanding of financial reports. Facilitate audit completion without delay. Advise on system and process development for new initiatives and improvements. Act as a SAP user and project member for group reporting updates. Support business units in process change coordination.
