Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).CPA, CMA, ACCA, or equivalent professional certification is highly preferred.Minimum of 10 years of progressive finance experience, including at least 5 years in a senior financial leadership role.Previous experience within the construction, contracting, or finishing industry is a Must .Strong understanding of project accounting, cost control, contract management, and cash flow forecasting.Experience with ERP systems and advanced financial reporting tools.Excellent knowledge of financial regulations, taxation, and corporate governance.Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and decision-making skills.Exceptional leadership, communication, and stakeholder management abilities.
Description
Develop and execute the company's financial strategy aligned with business objectives.Lead financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.Monitor project profitability, cost control, and financial performance across all construction projects.Manage cash flow, working capital, banking relationships, and financing activities.Oversee accounting operations, financial controls, and compliance with applicable regulations.Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports to executive management and shareholders.Identify financial risks and implement effective risk management strategies.Support contract review, project bidding, pricing strategies, and investment decisions from a financial perspective.Ensure accurate job costing, revenue recognition, and project accounting.Manage audits, tax planning, and regulatory compliance.Lead, mentor, and develop the finance and accounting team.Collaborate with department heads to improve operational efficiency and profitability.Develop and monitor key financial performance indicators (KPIs).
