What you will do Strategy and organization Translate the People Strategy to align with Al Futtaim Retail People strategy at the store level. Design and recommend an optimum organization structure in coordination with management for efficient performance. Partner with leadership to identify talent needs and develop recruitment strategies. Budget and cost management Accountable for manpower cost and budget planning, ensuring efficient utilization of the budget. Conduct annual manpower budgeting accurately and efficiently. Employee relations and HR policy Act as a point of contact for coworker concerns and grievances, ensuring HR policies are applied consistently. Manage employee relations cases according to local laws and AFG policy and code of conduct. Ensure compliance with local labour laws and Group policies throughout the employee lifecycle. Communicate and implement changes to HR policies and procedures. Guide performance appraisal processes and support the development of performance improvement plans. Culture and engagement Establish a values-driven store culture, inspiring decision-making based on Al-Futtaim values. Lead change management efforts and implement strategies for equality, diversity, and inclusion. Develop initiatives to enhance employee engagement, recognition, and retention. Talent development Develop a fair and accessible succession plan, maintaining strong bench strength. Mentor managers to enhance leadership skills and develop their teams.
