Job DescriptionThe Senior Engineer – Facilities Fit-Out is responsible for planning, coordinating, executing, and supervising interior fit-out and refurbishment projects. The role ensures projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and in compliance with quality standards, building codes, and client requirements. The engineer will coordinate with consultants, contractors, vendors, and internal stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.ResponsibilitiesPlan and manage fit-out projects from design review through project completion and handover.Review architectural, structural, MEP, and interior drawings for constructability and compliance.Coordinate with consultants, contractors, suppliers, and stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.Develop project schedules, monitor progress, and implement corrective actions when required.Ensure compliance with local regulations, safety standards, and company policies.Supervise site activities, ensuring quality workmanship and adherence to approved specifications.Review and approve material submittals, shop drawings, method statements, and inspection requests.Monitor project costs, variations, and resource utilization to maintain budget control.Conduct site inspections, progress meetings, and quality audits.Identify project risks and implement mitigation measures.Manage testing, commissioning, snagging, and final project handover.Prepare project reports, documentation, and progress updates for management.Support procurement by evaluating technical proposals and vendor capabilities.Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance to project teams.Qualifications8–12 years of experience in facilities fit-out, interior fit-out, refurbishment, or construction projects.Experience managing commercial, residential, healthcare, hospitality, or industrial fit-out projects.
