Description
Responsible for the following:- Conduct a comparison and evaluation of technical and financial offers received from suppliers.- Engage in negotiations with suppliers to secure the lowest prices, highest quality, and longest payment terms.- Receive purchase requests, issue purchase orders, and forward them to suppliers/vendors to facilitate the procurement process.- Maintain regular communication and follow-up with suppliers/vendors regarding purchase orders.- Collaborate on negotiating contract terms and pricing arrangements.- Execute all supply chain transactions using the designated system.- Coordinate with the warehouse department to ensure timely delivery and availability of goods in stores.- Monitor inventory levels and initiate purchase orders as required.- Provide the direct manager with evaluations of suppliers.- Prepare regular reports (daily, weekly, monthly, etc.) for the direct manager.
