Responsibilities
Assess and manage patients presenting with gastrointestinal diseases requiring surgical intervention.
Perform elective and emergency gastrointestinal surgeries, using both open and minimally invasive techniques.
Provide comprehensive pre-operative evaluation and post-operative follow-up care.
Collaborate with gastroenterologists, oncologists, radiologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure holistic patient care.
Educate patients and families about surgical procedures, risks, benefits, and recovery expectations.
Participate in clinical audits, research activities, and quality improvement programs.
Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation in compliance with healthcare standards.
Requirements
