Certificate of training in an approved Phlebotomy program or Diploma (1 year) Medical Laboratory Technology or Degree in any health-related field.
Minimum of one (1) year practical experience as Phlebotomist in a reputed Medical Laboratory Not less than two (2) years of Medical Laboratory experience.
Currently licensed in country of origin and with DOH/DHA/MOH license to practice in UAE.
Fluent in spoken & written English, Arabic language is desirable, but not essential.
Ability to learn and handle automation & IT programs is desirable but not essential

Patient Comfort and Care: Ensure a calm, safe, and comfortable environment for patients, addressing any concerns or anxieties. Maintain Cleanliness: Follow proper hygiene protocols, maintaining cleanliness in work areas and equipment. Record and Document Information: Accurately document patient information, procedures performed, and specimens collected. Transport Samples: Safely and efficiently transport specimens to the appropriate laboratories for analysis. Follow Safety Protocols: Adhere to all safety guidelines, including the handling and disposal of biohazard materials. Monitor Patient Reactions: Observe patients during and after procedures for any adverse reactions and report concerns to supervisors. Supports Continuous Quality Improvement and participates and contributes to all the quality assurance activities of the service. Participates and contributes to scheduled in-service training programs.
