Requirements
Egyptian garment industry experience is a must. Minimum of 4 years managing operations in a facility with 400+ sewing machines.Proven direct shopfloor leadership experience in driving efficiencies and improving productivity.Strong command of operational Arabic (spoken and written) and fluency in English.Proven experience with modernized manufacturing systems, quality systems, and Lean production lines.Demonstrated success in managing end-to-end production processes (cutting, sewing, finishing, packing).Exposure to manufacturing for international brand labels.Previous experience working in start-up garment factories is highly desirable.Bachelor’s degree in Textile/Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or related field (MBA preferred).Excellent leadership, decision-making, and problem-solving skills, with a strong ability to manage large teams and complex operations.

Brief: We are seeking a highly experienced Factory Manager to lead operations at one of our large-scale garment manufacturing facilities in Egypt. The role is critical for ensuring operational efficiency, compliance, and world-class quality standards, delivering to leading global apparel and sportswear brands.Key Responsibilities:Lead all factory operations, including production, cutting, sewing, finishing, maintenance, quality, planning, compliance, HR, and logistics.Drive shopfloor efficiencies and productivity, with hands-on leadership to resolve bottlenecks and improve output.Develop and execute operational strategies to achieve production targets, on-time delivery, and cost effectiveness.Implement and sustain Lean Manufacturing principles and industrial engineering–driven production systems.Ensure compliance with labor laws, health & safety regulations, and global buyer requirements.Oversee end-to-end production processes, from cutting to packing, ensuring integrated workflows and high-quality standards.Lead and mentor departmental managers, building strong leadership pipelines and motivating large workforces.Manage budgets, resources, and cost controls to optimize financial performance.Act as the primary liaison with global brand representatives during audits, factory visits, and reviews.Support start-up and modernization projects, embedding best practices into operations.
