Requirements
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Mechatronics Engineering.Experience: 4 to 7 years of experience in facility/maintenance engineering.Technical Expertise: Deep hands-on and supervisory knowledge of HVAC chilling units, diesel generators, and electrical control panels.Standards: Strong familiarity with GSDP (Good Storage and Distribution Practices) and GMP standards.Key Competencies:Strong leadership and team management skills.Exceptional troubleshooting and root-cause analysis skills under high-pressure, time-sensitive situations.Excellent communication skills to coordinate effectively with Quality Assurance (QA) and Warehouse Operations.
Description
Refrigeration & HVAC Systems Management: Oversee the routine maintenance, calibration, and repair of pharmaceutical cold rooms, deep freezers, and central HVAC systems to ensure precise temperature and humidity control.Power Distribution & Backup Systems: Manage main electrical panels, distribution boards, backup diesel generators, and UPS systems to guarantee 100% continuous power supply to critical storage areas.BMS & Environmental Monitoring: Supervise Building Management Systems (BMS) and continuous temperature/humidity monitoring systems, ensuring immediate response to any system alarms or deviations.Maintenance Planning & Execution: Develop, implement, and track comprehensive Preventive Maintenance (PM) schedules and oversee Corrective Maintenance (CM) for all facility equipment.Team Leadership: Lead, train, and supervise the internal technician team, assigning daily tasks and evaluating their technical performance.Vendor & Contractor Management: Manage service level agreements (SLAs) with external maintenance contractors (e.g., for major generator or chiller overhauls) and audit their deliverables.Quality Compliance & Documentation: Maintain flawless maintenance logs, histories, and equipment checklists in alignment with Ministry of Health (MOH) and EDA regulations, ensuring all validation and calibration certificates are up to date.
