Requirements
A High School Diploma or Equivalent is required. Experience in the solids control field or similar mechanical experience is needed to identify potential mechanical problems. A satisfactory driving record is necessary, and candidates must pass background checks, physicals, and substance abuse testing. The ability to operate heavy equipment and existing solids control line of equipment is also required.
Description

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  • Complete Solids Control rig-ups, rig-downs, troubleshooting, and minor repairs
  • Perform Solids Control Analysis of the equipment 
  • Perform electrical rig-ups, rig downs, and minor repairs 
  • Possess satisfactory knowledge of Solids Control and Vacuum Unit jobs 
  • Follow the proper sampling procedure 
  • Complete daily reports and communicate with customers, supervisors, and co-workers 
  • Possess satisfactory rig etiquette and maintain a professional attitude 
  • Train other employees and travel outside the hiring region when needed 
  • Maintain a satisfactory driving record per NOV's Driver Policy
  • Demonstrate a willingness to complete general labor tasks as deemed necessary by the supervisor 
  • Attain the necessary NOV WSS Core Training and maintain annual refresher training 

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: 

  • A High School Diploma or Equivalent is required.  
  • Experience in the solids control field or similar mechanical experience, to be able to identify potential mechanical problems 
  • Possess a satisfactory driving record 
  • Must be able to pass background check, pre-placement physical, pulmonary function/FIT test, and substance abuse testing 
  • Must be able to operate or be trained to operate heavy equipment such as a track hoe/back hoe in a safe manner 
  • Must be able to operate or be trained to operate existing solids control line of equipment and or any new solids control technology introduced to the market 

Pay rate 24.00 - 25.00 per hour
