Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related engineering discipline.CLAC certification is mandatory.5–8 years of relevant experience in contracts management, claims, and commercial administration within the Egyptian construction and real estate sector.Proven experience working on large-scale mixed-use developments including residential and commercial projects.Strong knowledge of FIDIC contracts and other standard forms of contract.Solid experience in:Contract AdministrationTendering & ProcurementVariations & Change ManagementClaims Assessment & NegotiationExtension of Time (EOT)Dispute Avoidance & ResolutionStrong understanding of Egyptian building codes, permitting procedures, and local authority requirements.Excellent negotiation, analytical, contractual, and communication skills.
Description
Draft,review, and negotiate consultancy, contractor, and other project-related agreements.Prepare and manage Requests for Proposals (RFPs) for design consultants and other professional services.Review contracts to ensure alignment with project requirements, commercial objectives, and applicable laws and regulations.Administer main contracts throughout the construction phase, ensuring compliance with contractual obligations and project requirements.Evaluate, negotiate, and manage contractor claims, variations, and Extension of Time (EOT) requests in accordance with contractual provisions and applicable Egyptian laws.Identify and mitigate commercial and contractual risks throughout the project lifecycle.Coordinate closely with Project Management, Design Management, Procurement, and Legal teams to resolve contractual and commercial matters.Support tendering, contract award, and post-award commercial administration activities.
