Good knowledge of civil construction QA/QC practices.
Strong understanding of concrete, reinforcement, formwork, earthworks, foundations, drainage, roads, waterproofing, and finishing works.
Knowledge of Inspection and Test Plans, Method Statements, NCRs, observations, and corrective actions.
Ability to read and interpret civil drawings, specifications, BOQs, and technical documents.
Good understanding of material inspection and laboratory testing procedures.
Knowledge of relevant standards such as ASTM, BS, EN, ACI, and project-specific specifications.
Familiarity with UAE construction standards and authority requirements.
Strong inspection, reporting, documentation, and record-keeping skills.
Good analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Strong coordination skills with consultants, clients, subcontractors, suppliers, and construction teams.
Good knowledge of MS Office and document-control systems.
Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet project deadlines.
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized university.
5–8 years of relevant experience in civil QA/QC within construction, infrastructure, engineering, industrial, or EPC projects.
Experience in inspection and quality control of major civil construction activities.
Hands-on experience with ITPs, Method Statements, Inspection Requests, NCRs, material approvals, and quality documentation.
Experience coordinating with consultants, clients, laboratories, subcontractors, and third-party inspection agencies.
UAE/GCC experience is preferred.
Experience working on projects in Dubai and Abu Dhabi will be an advantage.
ISO 9001 Internal Auditor/Lead Auditor or other relevant QA/QC certification will be an added advantage.
