It is preferred to have exposure in infrastructure, hydrocarbon, petroleum refinery industries; greenfield/brownfield work; concept, FEED, and detailed engineering of medium to large scale projects in the Middle East is required. Plus, to have both onshore and offshore experience but not mandatory. To be based in Abu Dhabi, UAE. Key skills & technical competencies Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit MEP, Navisworks, and MS Office. Well versed in preparing airflow diagrams and PIDs in AutoCAD/MicroStation independently. Basic understanding of HVAC systems and ability to communicate in English. Hands-on experience in E3D modelling including routing of HVAC ducting and accessories like grilles, dampers, louvers, etc., based on airflow diagrams and PIDs specifically for offshore projects. Working knowledge in S3D is an added advantage. G.A. drawing extraction in PDMS. Support selection and modeling as per support standards. Generate HVAC MTO. Basic knowledge of ASHRAE, NFPA, NBC, IS codes, IEC, and local regulations is good to have but not mandatory. Job responsibility and requirement Design HVAC systems, ventilation, air conditioning, and ductwork layouts. Draft equipment layout for air handling units, fan coil units, blowers, chillers, etc. Layout and detailed drawings for air side systems like ducting and accessories in 2D when required. Equipment modelling based on vendor data. Design and drafting of supports and accessories like grilles, dampers, louvers, etc. Prepare schematics, issue for construction drawings, and generate BOQ (Bill of Quantities). Coordinate with architectural, structural, process, and utility disciplines and contractors to integrate MEP systems into overall building designs. Develop detailed HVAC, plumbing, and electrical system design using AutoCAD and Revit MEP. Perform load calculations, duct sizing, and equipment selection to ensure optimal system performance. Experience required 12-15 years of experience required in HVAC and MEP design. Minimum 5+ years of experience in the oil and gas industry. Mandatory Diploma or bachelor's degree in mechanical or related field from a recognized institution with relevant experience in the Middle East.
