Responsible for conducting hourly process control checks, quality wall meetings, maintaining equipment hygiene, and producing quality products in line with business KPIs. Monitors and reports material usage, wastage, and efficiency, highlights operational, quality, and food safety issues to direct managers, and coordinates and report equipment maintenance. Manages line workers, maintains good housekeeping and GMP standards, supports IPS and food safety audits, and ensures effective utilization of energy resources such as water, electricity, and gas. The role also maintains safe operations by reporting workplace hazards and actively participating in the implementation and continual improvement of the OH&S Management System in compliance with PepsiCo GEHSMS, EHS standards, and regulatory requirements.ResponsibilitiesMake sure that the machine achieves the required efficiency set by the department. (weight control monitoring sheet)Should manage the packers working under his tubes (break time, cleaning during change flavour, time in and time out)Should maintain his machine in good condition at all times, by conducting the proper bag maker & Ishida machine maintenance checklist. (checklist) Should always maintain his workplace & machine clean at all times (GMP). (checklist)Should report all health hazards within his work place to his immediate Direct Manager.Should make sure that quality packets are produce at all times. Should attend quality wall at least fifteen (15) times per month. (Quality wall meeting attendance)To implement, sustain and participate in the continual improvement of the OH&S Management System (MS) at area of responsibility in accordance to the legislations, PepsiCo GEHSMS and relevant EHS standards, ensuring proper controls for all hazards and risks associated with all activities/areas are in place and OH&S targets are achievedQualificationsQualifications Minimum 1 year Packing Machine experiencePreferred industrial training institute graduate (ITI) or Diploma.Basic communication skills.Should have a good working attitude.Relevant tertiary qualification
