Strong communication, coordination, and stakeholder management skills are essential, along with knowledge of Oil and Gas equipment, specifications, materials of construction, and industry standards.

About the role:Euro Mechanical is looking for a Procurement Engineer.The Procurement Engineer is responsible of ensuring and executing procurement activities for EPC Oil & Gas projects, ensuring timely, cost-effective, and compliant procurement of materials, equipment, and services in line with project requirements, company procedures, and client specifications.Key Responsibilities:Maintain and manage an up-to-date vendor database, including vendor details and approved products/services.Develop and support ICV-certified local vendors and international vendors with a local presence.Build and optimize vendor relationships across business units.Source, evaluate, and negotiate products and services, prepare bid analysis, process purchase orders, and monitor delivery schedules.Ensure procured materials and services meet technical specifications and end-user requirements.Coordinate with operations teams to support forecasts for required products and services.Work with the warehouse team to resolve discrepancies, deviations, or quality issues related to received materials.Liaise with project managers and clients regarding procurement and project requirements.Submit and follow up on technical clarifications with project teams and clients.Support supplier evaluation processes and monitor supplier performance improvement actions.Ensure compliance with Oil & Gas industry safety, quality, and HSE standards.Act as a focal point for operational procurement requirements and ensure timely actions to avoid delays.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or E&I or related discipline.8–10 years of relevant experience in the UAE, preferably within the Oil & Gas sector.Strong communication, coordination, and stakeholder management skills.Knowledge of Oil and Gas equipment, Specifications, Material of Construction, industry standards, International Standards etc.To express interest, please apply online and we will get in touch with the suitable candidates shortly.
