ARENGY is a Technical Consultancy and Recruitment Services company based in the UAE, supporting leading technology and engineering companies across the Middle East.We are currently looking for 2 UAV Assembly Technicians to join one of our customers in Abu Dhabi, an innovative and fast-growing company developing advanced UAV and aerial robotics technologies.This is a highly hands-on position, ideal for candidates passionate about drones, electronics, mechanics, RC models or robotics who want to develop their career in the rapidly growing UAV industry.Job DescriptionYour Role Working alongside experienced engineers and technicians, you will participate in the assembly, wiring, integration and testing of custom-built drones, including: Assembling carbon-fiber/composite drone frames, landing gear and payload systems Installing motors, ESCs, flight controllers, GPS modules, FPV equipment and power distribution systems Soldering power cables, connectors, signal wires and wiring harnesses Performing continuity checks, visual inspections and basic bench testing Supporting drone prototyping, component installation and mechanical modifications Using workshop tools and maintaining a clean, organized and safe working environment Supporting the team during different UAV build and testing iterationsProfile / RequirementsWe are looking primarily for practical, hands-on candidates rather than purely academic profiles.You Should Have High school diploma; technical/vocational education in electronics, mechanics, mechatronics or similar is preferred Basic understanding of electronics and DC circuits Good soldering skills Strong manual dexterity and ability to work accurately with small components Experience using tools such as multimeters, wire strippers, screwdrivers, calipers and hex keys Hands-on experience through professional work, personal projects or hobbies involving drones, FPV, RC models, electronics, mechanics, robotics or maker projects Strong attention to detail, patience and willingness to learn Practical and resourceful problem-solving mindsetNice to HaveExperience with any of the following would be an advantage: FPV drones / RC aircraft CAD tools such as Fusion 360 or SolidWorks 3D printing Firmware flashing or drone configuration software such as ArduPilot, PX4, Betaflight or INAV Drone pilot certificationThis is an excellent opportunity to join the UAE's growing UAV ecosystem and gain direct experience building and testing advanced drone platforms.
