EducationBachelor’s degree in Purchasing and Supply, Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field.ExperienceAt least 3 years of experience in procurement processes, preferably within donor-funded projects.Previous experience working with projects funded by international donors is preferred.Experience in the competitive procurement of goods and services is required.Experience in managing purchase orders and subcontracts is strongly preferred.Skills and CompetenciesGood knowledge of procurement procedures and compliance requirements.Strong vendor management and negotiation skills.Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.Ability to manage several assignments and projects simultaneously.Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines.Good judgment, accountability, and commitment to ethical procurement practices.Strong planning, problem-solving, and communication skills.Ability to work collaboratively with project teams, vendors, service providers, and other stakeholders.Proficiency in Microsoft Word, email, and other workplace applications.Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel is preferred.Very good written and verbal communication skills in both Arabic and English.Willingness to travel frequently to the governorates and districts covered by the projects.

A well-established organization working on donor-funded projects is seeking a Field Procurement Assistant to support the Procurement Manager in managing procurement activities across various projects.The role includes procuring goods and services, printing materials, equipment, venues, accommodation, catering, transportation, stationery, and other project-related requirements.The successful candidate will help ensure that all procurement activities are transparent, cost-effective, properly documented, and conducted in accordance with the organization’s procurement policies and applicable donor guidelines.Job ResponsibilitiesSupport the Procurement Manager in managing procurement activities for different projects.Ensure procurement processes are transparent and comply with internal policies, procedures, and applicable donor guidelines.Procure goods and services efficiently, on time, and at competitive prices.Prepare Requests for Quotations (RFQs), collect and evaluate bids, and prepare price analyses.Conduct vendor due diligence, including reference checks and site visits when required.Prepare purchase orders and other procurement documents.Support the review and tracking of procurement plans.Communicate procurement updates regularly to the relevant project teams.Coordinate with technical teams regarding procurement requirements for training sessions, events, and project activities.Arrange venues, hotels, catering, transportation, stationery, supplies, and other logistical requirements.Maintain complete and properly organized procurement files.Ensure that vendors comply with the terms and conditions of purchase orders and contracts.Follow up with vendors to ensure the timely delivery of goods and services.Verify that delivered goods and services meet the required specifications, quality, and quantity.Review vendor invoices against purchase orders and contracts before submitting them for payment.Support project budget revisions by providing estimated prices for goods and services.Perform any other procurement-related duties assigned by the Procurement Manager.
