Job SummaryWe are looking for an experienced Integration Engineer to design, develop, and support cloud-based integration solutions using Microsoft Azure services. The role will be responsible for building scalable APIs, middleware components, integration services, and event-driven data exchange flows that enable seamless connectivity between enterprise applications, platforms, and external systems.The successful candidate will work closely with application teams, system owners, architects, security teams, and other stakeholders to understand integration requirements, develop robust solutions, perform integration testing, troubleshoot issues, and ensure secure and reliable data exchange across systems.The role requires strong hands-on experience with Azure integration services, API management, serverless technologies, messaging and event-driven architectures, REST APIs, and Azure DevOps, along with strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and maintain cloud-based integration solutions using Microsoft Azure services.Develop and manage REST APIs, middleware services, and integration components to connect internal and external applications.Build and maintain APIs using Azure API Management and Azure API Center.Develop serverless integration solutions using Azure Functions and Logic Apps Standard.Implement reliable messaging and event-driven integration using Azure Service Bus, Event Grid, Event Hubs, and IoT Hub.Develop end-to-end data exchange flows between enterprise applications and platforms.Implement data transformation, mapping, validation, routing, and orchestration logic as required.Support integration with various enterprise systems, applications, databases, and external services.Design and implement appropriate error handling, retry mechanisms, logging, monitoring, and exception management.Apply security controls across integration solutions, including authentication, authorization, API security, and secure connectivity.Support secure connectivity between cloud and on-premises systems.Perform integration testing, system integration testing, and troubleshooting of integration services and APIs.Analyze integration failures and identify root causes, working with relevant system owners and technical teams to resolve issues.Monitor integration services and proactively identify performance, availability, and connectivity issues.Collaborate with solution architects and application teams to ensure integration solutions follow enterprise architecture and technical standards.Work with system owners to understand source and target systems, data structures, interfaces, and integration requirements.Develop and maintain technical documentation covering APIs, interfaces, data flows, integration architecture, configurations, and connectivity.Use Azure DevOps for source control, CI/CD pipelines, work item management, and deployment activities.Support deployment of integration solutions across development, testing, and production environments.Ensure integration solutions are scalable, maintainable, reliable, and aligned with security and operational requirements.Participate in technical discussions, design reviews, code reviews, and continuous improvement initiatives.Technical RequirementsStrong patterns and enterprise integration architecture.Experience with source control and CI/CD practices using Azure DevOps.Experience working with APIs and integration endpoints across multiple environments.Skills & QualificationsBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.Relevant professional experience in Azure Integration, Cloud Integration, Middleware, or API Development.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex integration issues.Strong understanding of integration architecture and data flow concepts.Ability to work effectively with application teams, architects, system owners, and other technical stakeholders.Strong communication skills and the ability to explain technical issues clearly.High level of ownership and accountability for assigned integration services.Strong documentation skills, with attention to technical accuracy and detail.Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a multidisciplinary team.Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple integration activities and priorities.Ability to investigate issues, identify root causes, and drive problems through to resolution.Proactive mindset with a focus on reliability, quality, security, and continuous improvement.Preferred QualificationsMicrosoft Azure certifications such as Azure Developer Associate, Azure Integration Services, or related Azure certifications.Experience working within large-scale enterprise or government integration environments.Experience with hybrid cloud and on-premises integration.Experience with event-driven and real-time integration architectures.Knowledge of API lifecycle management and enterprise API
