Overview of the role
The Digital Range Specialist is responsible for leading the online product experience for IKEA, ensuring optimal availability and visibility of the product range to drive conversion. This role involves analyzing online shopping behavior, enhancing the customer journey, and collaborating with various teams to maintain a seamless digital commerce process. The position requires a strategic approach to range management, securing fulfillment and forecasting, as well as generating insights that contribute to marketing and sales effectiveness. A successful Digital Range Specialist will leverage digital tools, market trends, and internal analytics to support IKEA's multichannel strategy to maximize online commercial potential.
What you will do
Lead all aspects of the online product experience to ensure optimal availability, visibility, and conversion of the IKEA online range.
Analyze online shopping behavior to enhance customer journey and improve the digital buying process based on trends and feedback.
Contribute to optimizing the range offer in collaboration with Sales Leaders and ensure correct fulfillment and forecasting at the product level.
Administrate changes to the range across all digital channels and ensure that the agreed range is visible and buyable according to business rules.
Collaborate with marketing and digital teams to develop product descriptions and content that support SEO and SEM, and contribute to marketing campaigns with recommendations for engaging content.
Work closely with global teams to align on business priorities and technical developments.
Analyze website and product sales data to understand customer preferences and identify improvement areas.
Contribute to online promotions and product selections specific to each campaign, aligning with overall commercial strategies in coordination with sales and range teams.
Required skills to be successful
Strong specialist knowledge in digital commerce and product range management.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and influence skills with a capacity to inspire teams.
Ability to work under pressure with flexibility, organizational thinking, and decision-making skills.
Extensive knowledge in analytics, commercial offering creation, and an omni-channel sales environment.
What qualifies you for the role
High school credential with extensive experience (at least 5 years) in managing the IKEA range.
Proven experience in digital business, making commercial decisions in an omni-channel environment and strong analytics skillset.
Strong knowledge of IKEA's multichannel shopping experience and ability to evolve product strategy based on sales and industry trends.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and team-building capabilities with a solid understanding of digital technology and processes.
