Job description
We are seeking a proactive and tech-savvy I.T intern to join our team in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
As an I.T intern, you will gain hands-on experience in hotel I.T operations by assisting with maintaining all hotel information technology systems to ensure smooth daily operations, excellent guest experience, and securing handling of data while developing practical IT and problem-solving skills.
Provide daily IT support to hotel departments including Front Office, Finance, F&B, etc.
Support and maintain hotel systems such as PMS and POS systems
Maintain and monitor hotel Wi-Fi and network connectivity for both guests and staff
Troubleshoot hardware and software issues including computers, printers, servers, switches, and mobile devices
Manage user access, permissions, and passwords in accordance with hotel security policies
Ensure regular system backups, updates, and antivirus protection
Maintain IT asset inventory and software licensing records
Support new system installations, upgrades, and hotel openings or renovations
Provide basic IT assistance related to guest technology issues when required
Ensure compliance with data protection, cybersecurity, and brand standards
Qualifications
Currently pursuing or recently completed a diploma or bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field
Basic knowledge of computer systems, networking, and IT support
Fresh graduates and students seeking practical industry experience are encouraged to apply
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Proficient in English (verbal and written); additional languages are a plus
