Description
A floor supervisor oversees daily floor operations, directs staff, maintains merchandise or workflow standards, resolves customer or employee issues, and ensures compliance with company policies and safety procedures.Key Duties & ResponsibilitiesRetail / HospitalityAssign and direct tasks for floor staff. Monitor merchandise presentation, inventory levels, and restocking. Provide on‑the‑spot coaching and performance feedback. Handle first‑level customer issues and escalated complaints. Execute opening and closing procedures, including cash handlingEnsure cleanliness, safety, and compliance with company policies. Manufacturing / ProductionSupervise production workers (machine operators, assemblers, inspectors). Review production schedules and make staffing or workflow decisionsMonitor productivity data and correct operational issues.
