Requirements
The ideal candidate will have previous experience as a Front Office Agent, Guest Service Agent, Club Lounge Receptionist, Guest Relations Agent, or in a similar luxury hospitality role. Experience in a luxury or international hotel environment is advantageous. Essential skills include excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, a warm and professional personality, a passion for guest service, strong attention to detail, good organizational and multitasking skills, and a proactive approach. Familiarity with hotel property management systems and good computer skills are beneficial. Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays, is required. A good command of spoken and written English is essential, with additional languages being an advantage.

We are currently looking for a warm, polished, and service-oriented Club Lounge Receptionist to join our team and deliver an elevated and personalized experience to our Club Lounge guests.A little taste of your day-to-day:As a Club Lounge Receptionist, you will be one of the key points of contact for our Club Lounge guests, providing a highly personalized level of service from arrival through departure. You will combine Front Office expertise with thoughtful guest engagement, ensuring our Club guests, VIPs, and IHG One Rewards members feel recognized and valued. From assisting with check-in and check-out to anticipating individual preferences and coordinating special requests, you will help create a seamless and memorable Club InterContinental experience.Welcoming Club InterContinental guests warmly and providing personalized, attentive, and professional service.Managing check-in and check-out procedures efficiently while creating a relaxed and seamless arrival and departure experience.Recognizing VIPs, returning guests, and IHG One Rewards members and ensuring their preferences are acknowledged wherever possible.Building genuine relationships with guests and anticipating their needs throughout their stay.Assisting guests with enquiries regarding hotel facilities, restaurants, Club Lounge services, transportation, and local attractions.Handling room-related requests, guest profiles, preferences, payments, and other Front Office procedures accurately.Maintaining accurate guest profiles and updating preferences and relevant information within the hotel system.Assisting with restaurant reservations, transportation arrangements, special occasions, and other guest requests.Communicating guest preferences, special requests, celebrations, and VIP information to the relevant departments.Coordinating closely with Front Office, Guest Relations, Concierge, Housekeeping, Food & Beverage, and other teams to ensure seamless service.Taking ownership of guest requests and following up to ensure they are completed promptly and to the expected standard.Handling guest feedback or concerns professionally and ensuring appropriate action and follow-up.Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of Club InterContinental benefits, hotel facilities, services, promotions, events, and local information.Supporting personalized arrangements for birthdays, anniversaries, VIP stays, and other special occasions.Ensuring the Club Lounge reception and guest-facing areas remain organized, welcoming, and presentable.Maintaining guest privacy, confidentiality, and security at all times.Supporting the wider Club Lounge team during busy periods when required.Maintaining exceptional grooming and presentation standards.Demonstrating IHG values through genuine, thoughtful, and professional interactions with guests and colleagues.What we need from you:Previous experience as a Front Office Agent, Guest Service Agent, Club Lounge Receptionist, Guest Relations Agent, or in a similar luxury hospitality role.Previous experience within a luxury or international hotel environment would be an advantage.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.A warm, polished, confident, and professional personality.A genuine passion for personalized guest service and luxury hospitality.Strong attention to detail with the ability to recognize and remember guest preferences.Good organizational and multitasking skills.A proactive approach with the ability to anticipate guest needs and take ownership of requests.The ability to remain calm, composed, and professional in a busy environment.Familiarity with hotel property management systems would be an advantage.Good computer skills and the ability to learn hotel systems quickly.A professional appearance and strong grooming standards.Flexibility to work different shifts, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and public holidays.Good command of spoken and written English; additional languages would be an advantage.What you can expect from us: We give our people everything they need to succeed.
