We are seeking a compassionate and highly skilled specialist neonatologist
to provide specialized medical care for premature infants, critically ill newborns, and neonates requiring advanced intensive care. The successful candidate will be responsible for the diagnosis, treatment, stabilization, and long-term management of neonatal patients while working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Level III/IV Neonatal Intensive Care Units (NICU), evidence-based neonatal medicine, neonatal resuscitation, and family-centered care.
Requirements
Key responsibilities
Interpret and report a broad range of diagnostic imaging examinations, including:
X-ray
Ultrasound
Computed Tomography (CT)
Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI)
Mammography
Fluoroscopy
Doppler Ultrasound
Perform and supervise image-guided diagnostic and minimally invasive procedures where credentialed.
Provide timely and accurate radiology reports in accordance with international reporting standards.
Collaborate with physicians across multiple specialties to support clinical diagnosis and treatment planning.
Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and provide expert radiological consultation.
Ensure adherence to radiation safety protocols and quality assurance standards.
Maintain high standards of image quality while optimizing patient safety.
Supervise radiographers, residents, and junior medical staff where applicable.
Participate in departmental quality improvement initiatives and clinical audits.
Maintain accurate electronic medical records and radiology documentation.
Support emergency imaging services and on-call duties as required.
Participate in Continuing Medical Education (CME), research, and departmental teaching activities.
Ensure compliance with UAE healthcare regulations, hospital policies, and international accreditation standards.
