Senior QA/QC Engineer (Qatar)Job PurposeEnsure quality compliance across engineering, procurement, fabrication, construction, installation, repair, and modification activities for onshore and offshore facilities. Provide technical expertise in materials, metallurgy, welding, fabrication, NDT, inspection, and auditing while ensuring adherence to applicable codes, standards, specifications, and company procedures.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and supervise QA/QC, inspection, and NDT personnel.Conduct failure investigations and root cause analyses.Support procurement through technical and quality reviews.Review and approve QA/QC and welding documentation.Provide QA/QC input for audits, risk reviews, MOC, and startup readiness.Ensure contractor compliance during projects, maintenance, and shutdowns.Perform supplier and contractor quality audits.Oversee inspection and certification of equipment and assets.Promote quality awareness, training, and procedure compliance.Develop and improve QA/QC processes and procedures.Provide technical expertise in metallurgy, welding, NDT, and inspection.Ensure compliance with HSE and quality management requirements.QualificationsBachelor's Degree in Engineering.Professional certifications in Welding, NDT, Inspection, Auditing, or related disciplines preferred.ExperienceMinimum 6 years of QA/QC experience within the Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Energy, or related process industries.Experience in design, engineering, procurement, fabrication, inspection, commissioning, and installation of process equipment and piping systems.Proven experience troubleshooting welding, fabrication, inspection, and quality-related issues.Interested candidates are encouraged to send their CV to[HIDDEN TEXT]Referrals are welcome too—feel free to share this opportunity with qualified professionals in your network.
