Job description / Role Job Type Full Time Job Location UAE Nationality Any Nationality Salary 15000 - 20000 AED Gender Not Specified Arabic Fluency Not Specified Job Function Engineering - Civil & Construction Company Industry Construction Senior Quantity Surveyor – Pre-Contract (Head Office) Key Responsibilities • Prepare detailed cost estimates, feasibility studies, and cost plans for roads and infrastructure projects. • Develop Bills of Quantities (BOQs), tender documentation, and pricing schedules. • Manage the tendering process, including bid evaluations and preparation of tender reports. • Provide value engineering recommendations to achieve cost-effective project solutions. • Prepare project budgets and cost forecasts. • Advise project teams on procurement strategies and commercial risks. • Review contract documentation and ensure compliance with client requirements. • Liaise with clients, consultants, and contractors during the tender stage. • Ensure all commercial activities comply with company procedures and industry standards. Senior Quantity Surveyor – Post-Contract / Project QS (Site Based) Key Responsibilities • Manage the commercial and contractual aspects of roads and infrastructure projects during construction. • Administer contracts in accordance with FIDIC conditions. • Prepare and evaluate interim payment applications and contractor valuations. • Assess, negotiate, and manage variations, change orders, and contractual claims. • Monitor project costs, budgets, and forecasts to ensure commercial objectives are achieved. • Prepare monthly commercial reports and cost-to-complete forecasts. • Support project teams in resolving contractual and commercial issues. • Evaluate subcontractor accounts and manage final account settlements. • Maintain effective communication with clients, consultants, contractors, and project stakeholders. Requirements: • Bachelor's Degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline. • Minimum 8–12 years of quantity surveying experience within engineering consultancy environments. • Strong experience delivering Roads & Infrastructure projects. • Mandatory experience working on RTA projects within the UAE. • Thorough understanding of FIDIC forms of contract. • Excellent knowledge of commercial management, cost control, and contract administration. • Strong analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving skills. • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and commercial management software. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. • Must currently be based in the UAE.
