Role overview The successful candidate will work within a collaborative, multidisciplinary clinical environment supported by experienced consultants, nurses, allied health professionals and modern diagnostic and treatment infrastructure. Key responsibilities Evaluate and manage patients requiring adult cardiac surgical intervention. Perform coronary, valve, aortic or other cardiac procedures according to expertise and facility privileges. Lead perioperative planning with cardiology, cardiac anaesthesia, perfusion, ICU and rehabilitation teams. Participate in heart team meetings, risk assessment, consent and outcome review. Manage postoperative recovery, complications, follow-up and long-term care coordination. Support quality, infection control, surgical registry, audit and patient safety programs.
