Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Materials Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related discipline.
Typically 8–12 years of relevant experience in stores, warehouse, inventory, or materials management, preferably within power, EPC, infrastructure, or construction projects.
Proven experience managing project stores and warehouses for large-scale power or infrastructure projects.
Strong knowledge of electrical, civil, mechanical, and construction-related materials and equipment.
Experience in managing material receipt, inspection, preservation, issuance, inventory control, and reconciliation.
Strong understanding of inventory management, material coding, stock control, and warehouse procedures.
Experience handling high-value and sensitive electrical equipment such as transformers, switchgear, cables, panels, and associated accessories will be an advantage.
Knowledge of ERP-based inventory and warehouse management systems; experience with SAP or similar ERP systems is preferred.
Strong understanding of material documentation including Purchase Orders, Delivery Notes, Material Receipt Notes, Material Requisitions, Material Issue Notes, and Stock Transfer Notes.
Experience coordinating with Procurement, Logistics, QA/QC, Construction, Planning, Finance, and Project Management teams.
Strong analytical, organizational, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
Good knowledge of HSE requirements related to warehouse operations, material handling, storage, and lifting activities.
Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel, and inventory management systems.
UAE/GCC project experience is preferred.
Preferred Experience
Experience with major EPC contractors, power utilities, substations, transmission/distribution projects, or large infrastructure developments.
Experience managing stores for HV/EHV power projects and substation construction.
Familiarity with UAE project requirements, logistics processes, and authority/client procedures.
Experience in project material reconciliation, surplus material management, and project close-out.
Strong experience in managing multiple project stores, subcontractor materials, and centralized warehouse operations.
