The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating and monitoring HSE activities, ensuring compliance with Saudi Aramco and project HSE requirements, and promoting a strong safety culture across operational sites. Candidates with experience in both rig/drilling and non-rig oil & gas environments are encouraged to apply. Key responsibilities Coordinate and monitor the implementation of HSE policies, procedures, and project safety requirements. Ensure compliance with Saudi Aramco HSE standards, client requirements, and applicable regulations. Conduct regular HSE inspections, audits, and site safety assessments. Identify unsafe acts, unsafe conditions, and potential hazards and recommend corrective actions. Monitor and support the implementation of permit to work (PTW), job safety analysis (JSA), and risk assessment processes. Participate in incident and accident investigations, including root cause analysis and corrective action follow-up. Prepare and maintain HSE reports, inspection reports, incident reports, and safety performance records. Coordinate and conduct safety inductions, toolbox talks, HSE awareness sessions, and safety training programs. Organize and participate in emergency response drills and ensure personnel are familiar with emergency procedures. Monitor the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and other HSE-critical equipment. Participate in safety meetings and communicate HSE alerts, lessons learned, and safety initiatives to employees. Follow up on observations, audit findings, and non-conformances to ensure timely closure of corrective actions. Promote a proactive safety culture and encourage reporting of unsafe acts and conditions. Coordinate with project management, supervisors, contractors, and client representatives on HSE-related matters. Monitor environmental compliance, waste management, spill prevention, and other environmental protection requirements. Requirements Bachelor's degree or diploma in occupational health & safety, engineering, environmental science, or a related discipline. Minimum 5+ years of HSE experience in oil & gas, petrochemical, energy, construction, drilling, or industrial projects. Previous experience working on Saudi Aramco projects is highly preferred. Saudi Aramco RTS approval or experience will be an added advantage. Experience in rig/drilling operations or non-rig oil & gas operations will be considered. Strong knowledge of Saudi Aramco HSE requirements, standards, and procedures. Good understanding of PTW, JSA, risk assessment, HAZID, incident investigation, and emergency response. Experience conducting HSE inspections, audits, toolbox talks, safety meetings, and training programs. NEBOSH IGC certification is highly preferred. Additional certifications such as IOSH, OSHA, ISO 45001, first aid, H2S, confined space, or fire safety will be advantageous. Strong reporting, documentation, communication, and coordination skills.
