Description
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIESAssess the efficiency of the system based on the production and use of control indicators, and ensures, where necessary, that corrective actions are implemented.Perform a regulatory watch on best practices in terms of compliance offsite controls and onsite visits along with making suggestions to improve or enrich the current control system.Contributes - jointly with the Compliance Standards and Methods Officer - to the maintenance of the operational risk mapping for his/her scope of activity, especially by including the deficiencies and operational losses observed.Design/update controls to meet all regulatory and internal requirements taking into consideration the Risk Mapping assessment.Coordinate with all concerned departments to ensure timely reporting of control assessment in accordance with the bank procedure and Group standard.Prepare weekly/Monthly /quarterly assessments reports to the team Head for progress with regards to the control results and weakness identified.Update the RCM with the new controls and identify the KRI.The designated officer for handling the staff monitoring transactions is responsible for viewing all the alerts on time and report suspicious cases to the Team Head and CMAT HeadFollow and implement all relevant department policies, processes, standard operating procedures and instructions so that work is carried out in a controlled and consistent manner.Follow the day-to-day operations related to own jobs in the department and prepare requested reports to ensure continuity of work. Ensure being innovative, initiative and recommend new approaches related to own jobs.Qualifications & Experience: Bachelor's degree in commerce, business administration or any related discipline For Officer: Min of 0-3 years of experience in the banking sectorFor Sr. Officer: Min of 3 – 5 years of experience in the banking sectorSufficient banking experience in different fields.Certified in Compliance international certificates.In-depth knowledge of Banking Laws & Regulations
