Are you an experienced storekeeper with a background in retail warehousing?
We're looking for a proactive and organised professional to join our team in Dubai Technopark and play a key role in ensuring the smooth flow of stock from warehouse to store.
In this role, you'll be responsible for supervising and maintaining accurate inventory, overseeing the safe storage and movement of goods, and coordinating with warehouse teams to ensure timely, efficient operations and meeting the KPIs.
Functional roles and responsibilities:
Carry out stock checks periodically to minimize or nullify any stock loss or variation.
Prepare all relevant documents for delivery or shop outs.
Inspect the goods and materials on arrival, compare the items with the order to identify any shortage or damage, and report to authorities to take immediate corrective action if necessary, such as lodging claims with insurance or the supplier.
Count and tag every item and organise storage in a safe and secure manner to avoid any possibility of damage or loss due to improper handling and storage. Also ensure that the material is easily identified and retrieved as and when required.
Arrange for picking and packing of stock based on the pick lists; coordinate between the warehouse assistants and drivers to ensure timely delivery of goods.
Maintain HSE practices in the working environment to minimize the risk of property damage and injury to self and colleagues. Proactively remind colleagues to behave in line with the HSE processes defined by the company.
Review operational processes from a risk management perspective; identify and qualify new areas of risk and escalate concerns to the HSE committee appointed by the company.
Handle customer returns and store them with transfers to ensure stocks are updated within the SLA timeframe and are available for sale.
People management roles and responsibilities:
Guide and motivate subordinates to enhance performance and produce quality work to achieve individual and company objectives.

Years of experience
2 to 3 years of retail warehouse storekeeping experience; retail industry experience is essential.
Knowledge and skills
Good knowledge of material storage, distribution and transportation gained through formal training or work experience.
Previous experience managing stock within a fast-paced retail warehouse environment.
Working knowledge of any warehouse management system (WMS) is preferred.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively across teams.
Good computer proficiency, with experience using MS Office and warehouse or inventory management systems (WMS experience is an advantage).
Strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to prioritise multiple tasks.
Team management or supervisory experience with the ability to motivate and develop others.
