Requirements
Requires 3-5 years of experience as a Telecom/ELV Technician with hands-on experience in CCTV, Access Control, Fire & Gas systems, and low-current systems installation, testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting. Understanding of technical drawings, cabling, system wiring, HSE requirements, and industrial site practices is essential. Teamwork and troubleshooting skills are also required. Experience in Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Industrial, or EPC projects is preferred.
Description
Key ResponsibilitiesPerform installation, testing, commissioning, maintenance, and troubleshooting of telecom and ELV systems.Install and maintain CCTV, Access Control, Fire & Gas detection systems, and related equipment.Carry out cable laying, termination, dressing, testing, and basic fault identification.Assist with system configuration, testing, and commissioning activities.Read and understand technical drawings, layouts, and wiring diagrams.Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance of installed systems.Coordinate with supervisors, engineers, and other site teams to complete assigned work.Maintain proper records of installation, testing, maintenance, and site activities.Ensure all work is performed safely and in accordance with HSE procedures and project requirements.Requirements3–5 years of relevant experience as a Telecom / ELV Technician.Hands-on experience in CCTV, Access Control, Fire & Gas systems, and telecom/ELV installations.Experience in installation, testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting of low-current systems.Previous experience in Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Industrial, or EPC projects is preferred.Experience in Ras Laffan will be an advantage.Good understanding of technical drawings, cabling, and system wiring.Knowledge of HSE requirements and industrial site practices.Good troubleshooting and teamwork skills.
