Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering with 6+ years of relevant experience in Facility Management, MEP, or Building Services. The RoleThe Senior Mechanical Engineer – Facility Management is responsible for providing technical oversight and support for HVAC, firefighting, plumbing, and other mechanical systems. The role ensures effective system performance, maintenance, compliance, and optimization while supporting design reviews, testing and commissioning, and technical issue resolution. The position works closely with consultants, contractors, FM teams, and other engineering disciplines to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient facility operations.Key ResponsibilitiesManage and provide technical support for HVAC, firefighting, plumbing, and other mechanical systems.Review and approve design drawings, calculations, specifications, shop drawings, and technical submittals.Conduct technical design reviews for HVAC, Firefighting (FF), and Plumbing systems.Ensure designs and installations comply with applicable codes, standards, and authority requirements.Support facility operation, preventive/corrective maintenance, troubleshooting, and system optimization.Review and monitor testing, commissioning, and handover activities.Coordinate with consultants, contractors, FM teams, and other engineering disciplines.Identify technical issues and provide practical engineering solutions.Skills, Knowledge And ExperienceBachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.6+ years of relevant experience in Facility Management, MEP, or Building Services.Strong technical knowledge of HVAC, Firefighting, and Plumbing systems.Proven experience in MEP design review and technical evaluation.Good knowledge of relevant international/local codes and standards.Experience with AutoCAD is a must.Strong communication, coordination, problem-solving, and technical reporting skills.Over 42,000 people work for us in more than 700 offices all over the world.
