Requirements
Retail Order Processing – Own the day-to-day processing of retail and wholesale orders, ensuring purchase orders are entered accurately, requirements are understood, and orders progress through to fulfilment and delivery.Purchase Order Management – Review and manage retailer POs, checking quantities, pricing, SKUs, delivery windows, routing requirements, and other order details while proactively resolving discrepancies.EDI & Retail Systems – Work with EDI systems and retailer portals to manage order flow, acknowledgements, shipping information, invoices, and other required documentation, identifying and troubleshooting exceptions when they arise.Issue Resolution – Investigate and resolve operational issues relating to orders, inventory, shipping, retailer requirements, and system discrepancies, coordinating with the relevant internal or external teams to find solutions quickly.Retailer Compliance – Help ensure orders meet retailer-specific requirements, including routing guides, labelling, documentation, delivery windows, and other compliance requirements to minimise delays, deductions, and chargebacks.Operational Manuals & Documentation – Own and maintain retailer manuals, routing guides, SOPs, and account-specific documentation, ensuring requirements are clearly organised, accessible, and kept up to date.Cross-Functional Coordination – Work closely with Sales, Operations, Finance, warehouse/3PL partners, and other teams to ensure retail orders are fulfilled accurately and any blockers are communicated and resolved.Process Improvement – Identify recurring issues or inefficient manual processes and help develop clearer, more scalable workflows as the retail business grows.Inbox Management – Manage the retail inbox so partners recieve accurate messages with the right tone, on time.Retail Metrics – Perform data analysis on our retail metrics to keep dashboards updated and KPI's tarcked.
Description
We're looking for a Retail Operations Coordinator to join our client's team.If you're highly organised, commercially aware, and comfortable managing the operational detail behind large retail accounts, this could be the role for you.Your day-to-day responsibilities will centre on processing retail orders, managing purchase orders, troubleshooting fulfilment and retailer issues, and maintaining clear operational documentation. You'll work across internal teams, retail partners, and logistics providers to ensure orders move from PO to delivery accurately and on time.This position is particularly well suited to someone who has worked with large international retailers and understands the processes, systems, and attention to detail required to service major retail accounts.
