NOV Texas Oil Tools, the leading specialty manufacturer and supplier of well control equipment for intervention operations, is seeking a Service Technician for its Odessa, Texas location.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Familiar with Coiled Tubing Pressure Control Equipment (CTPCE) and fully conversant with the assembly drawings and bill of materials – using only approved versions.
- Responsible for the safe assembly, testing and repair of assigned pressure control (CTPCE) under the direction of the supervisor.
- Produce product in a manner as to improve efficiency and achieve productivity and delivery goals.
- Notify the supervisor of any mistakes, omissions, or alterations necessary to drawings or bill of materials.
- Upkeep of tools and toolbox, reporting any losses or breakages to the supervisor and keeping the toolbox locked when not in use.
- Comply with all NOV Company and HSE policies and procedures.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Perform other work-related tasks as assigned.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS
- Must possess a high school diploma, GED, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 1 to 3 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Must have experience and knowledge of mechanical assembly; basic blueprint reading skills and pressure control equipment (preferred).
- Solid understanding of Microsoft Office, specifically Excel.
- Forklift experience considered an asset.
