Requirements
Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent with hands-on mechanical machine operation experience. Must have knowledge and experience in inspecting, repairing, balancing, and testing centrifugal compressors, centrifugal pumps, and gas turbines. At least 5 years of experience in repair activities of rotating equipment (centrifugal compressors, centrifugal pumps, gas turbines, or gearboxes) is necessary. Experience in compressor/pump rotor disassembly/assembly or gas turbine rotor disk disassembly/assembly is also required.

Our team is responsible for the assembly of high-quality and innovative products.Partner with the bestAs a Shop Operator, under direct supervision, you will set up, monitor and operates various piece of equipment associated with the service and manufacturing facility requirements. May include operation of multiple machines at one time. May perform quality control and assurance activities as required by manufacturing/engineering specifications, internal procedures and ISO requirements.As a Service Shop Operator, you will be responsible for:Inspecting and Repairing activities for Centrifugal Compressors Rotors, Centrifugal Pumps Rotors, Gas Turbine Rotors, and Gears Shafts.Performing visual inspection, geometrical inspection, non-destructive testing, and other tests & record results as per requirements and data sheets.Being responsible for quality control of the in process parts. Where all parts under operations needs to be inspected after the operation is completed and results to be recorded in the data sheetsPerforming product preservation as per procedures.Raising HSE concerns/observations as per the HSE per capita targetConducting machine tool preventive maintenance & conduct daily maintenance checklist.Reporting out fixture and toolings performance and rigidity evaluation as well as testing of new fixture design and clamping method.Performing 6S and housekeeping activities for the machines (interior & exterior), workstations, and its surrounding and participate in improvement project and implementation of lean ManufacturingFuel your passionTo be successful in this role you will:Have a High School Diploma or equivalent level of education and hands on-experience in operating mechanical machinesHave knowledge and experience to perform several types of inspections, repairs, Balancing, and testing of centrifugal compressors and centrifugal pumps and gas turbinesHave +5 years experience in repair activities of rotating equipment (centrifugal compressors, or centrifugal pumps or gas turbines or gearboxes)Have Experience in compressor rotor, or pumps rotor de-stacking (disassembly by flare) and stacking (Assembly) or Gas Turbine Rotor Disks de-stacking (disassembly) and stacking (Assembly)Have experience to implement total run out test is preferredHave capability, knowledge and skill to operate a LATHE Machine (Manual or CNC) is preferredHave capability, knowledge and skill to operate Low Speed Horizontal Balancing Machines, performing balancing check, and performing balancing activities to remove residual unbalanceHave capability, knowledge and skill to operate Vertical Balancing Machines, performing balancing check, and performing balancing activities to remove residual unbalance is preferredExperience in Machining is preferredThe shop will be initially operative during morning shifts only.
