Requirements

  1. Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing, Wood Technology, or a related field.

  2. Minimum 5–10 years of experience in joinery or woodworking manufacturing.

  3. Strong knowledge of joinery manufacturing processes, including:

    • CNC operations

    • Woodworking machinery

    • Veneer and laminates

    • Solid wood

    • MDF and plywood

    • Cabinet and furniture production

    • Edge banding and machining

    • Sanding and polishing

    • Painting and finishing works

  4. Strong understanding of production planning, scheduling, capacity planning, and workflow management.

  5. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, shop drawings, and production specifications.

  6. Strong knowledge of quality control and manufacturing standards.

  7. Excellent leadership, communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

  8. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ERP/MRP production systems.

  9. Ability to manage multiple production requirements and meet strict project deadlines.

  10. Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

  11. Experience in high-end joinery, luxury interiors, furniture, and fit-out production.

  12. Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement methodologies.

  13. Familiarity with ISO 9001 and quality management systems.

  14. Experience working with project-based production and customized joinery.

  15. Strong knowledge of production costing, material optimization, and waste reduction.

Ensure efficient production with the optimal combination of inputs to produce maximum output at the minimum cost by supervising the complete process.Contribute to the estimation of raw materials, preparation of the cutting list and production planning.Improve, maintain, and monitor the efficiency of the workers.Keep department informed of the production plan, deadlines/targets, and any changes etc.Resolve production issues by coordinating with Line Manager.Ensure the general housekeeping of all areas, walkways, workstations etc.Immediately report any machine breakdowns to the Maintenance Department and the Line Manager.Ensure a safe working environment and enforce safe work practices, reporting any violators, all work accidents and make certain that preventative measures are taken.
