JOB PURPOSELead and build the factory quality function to ensure product, process and system quality across wire-harness manufacturing operations. The role owns the development and effectiveness of the Quality Management System, drives prevention and resolution of quality issues, establishes robust inspection and process-control practices, and provides technical quality leadership across Production, Engineering, Supply Chain and other functions. During the current organizational build-up stage, the role may also oversee or coordinate selected environment, health & safety, calibration and compliance activities until the structure develops further.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES•              Build, implement, maintain and continuously improve the factory Quality Management System and ensure effective deployment across departments.•              Participate with senior management in setting quality objectives, policies, priorities and improvement plans, and provide clear quality performance reporting.•              Lead product and process quality across incoming inspection, in-process inspection, final inspection, testing and release of finished products.•              Establish and maintain appropriate quality controls for wire-harness operations, including cutting, stripping, crimping, assembly, soldering where applicable, connectorization, continuity/electrical testing, marking and final workmanship acceptance.•              Define inspection standards, acceptance criteria, sampling/inspection frequencies and control points according to customer, product, process and applicable standard requirements.•              Lead root-cause analysis and corrective/preventive action for nonconformities, internal defects, customer complaints, repeated failures and significant process deviations; verify effectiveness of actions.•              Develop and control PFMEA, Control Plans and relevant process-quality documentation; apply SPC, MSA and process capability techniques where relevant.•              Support APQP/PPAP or equivalent customer/product approval requirements where applicable, and ensure quality readiness for new products, changes and launches.•              Lead internal quality audits and process audits; prepare audit plans, follow findings to closure and report significant risks and recurring issues to management.•              Coordinate external certification, surveillance and customer audits; address findings and protect continuity of required certifications.•              Manage customer-quality requirements, complaints, technical quality communication and agreed urgent quality actions; ensure confidentiality of customer and company information.•              Oversee supplier-quality performance and incoming material quality; participate in supplier evaluation, escalation and corrective-action follow-up when quality issues arise.•              Ensure calibration and verification systems for measuring and testing equipment are established, maintained and traceable.•              Ensure identification, traceability, segregation and control of nonconforming product and appropriate storage/handling quality requirements.•              Monitor quality KPIs and trends, analyze performance data, identify systemic risks and lead continuous-improvement initiatives based on evidence.•              Prepare and support Management Review meetings and follow up resulting decisions, actions and improvement commitments.•              Lead, coach and develop the Quality team; define responsibilities, competency requirements, training needs and performance expectations.•              Provide technical quality guidance to Production and other departments while maintaining independent quality judgment and evidence-based decision making.•              During the current organization-building stage, oversee or coordinate applicable environmental, occupational health & safety and related compliance requirements, with clear interfaces and escalation to management.•              Keep applicable quality, environmental and compliance requirements current and support the factory in meeting customer, regulatory and certification obligations.KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS (KPIs)•              Customer complaints / customer PPM and closure effectiveness•              Internal defect and rejection rate•              First-pass yield / right-first-time performance•              Scrap and rework attributable to quality issues•              Corrective-action closure on time and recurrence rate•              Internal/external audit findings and closure performance•              Supplier quality / incoming rejection performance•              Calibration compliance•              Quality-system implementation and documentation compliance•              Quality improvement projects delivered and verified impact•              Training/competency completion for Quality team and relevant operators
