Requirements
The ideal candidate will have 2-5 years of experience in order handling, project administration, or commercial operations, with enhanced knowledge of SAP modules including Sales Orders, WBS, Invoicing, GR/GI, PR/PO, and Project Reporting. A degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, or Engineering is preferred, along with strong communication skills in English and Arabic, and a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.

The role is primarily focused on projects in Saudi Arabia and Qatar, while also supporting other countries across the Middle East and Africa (MEA) region as business needs require. Each day, you will serve as a key operational resource, ensuring accurate project administration, commercial documentation, and SAP transaction processing. You will also showcase your expertise by creating and maintaining project structures and sales orders in SAP, processing customer invoicing and milestone documentation, coordinating shipping and bank guarantee activities, and collaborating with Project Managers, Finance, Logistics, Procurement, and Factory teams to ensure projects are executed efficiently and customer requirements are met within the required timelines.The work model for the role is: #onsite #onsite-LiThis role is contributing to the Low Voltage Systems (LVS) business in the Middle East and Africa (MEAT&I) region, with primary responsibility for Project Operations activities supporting Saudi Arabia and Qatar, while providing operational support to other MEA countries as required. The role is based in Egypt and reports to the regions Project Manager responsible for Middle East and Africa (MEA) region, who is based in Saudi Arabia. Main stakeholders are ABB Regional Managers, Project Managers, Finance, Logistics, Procurement, Factory teams, and customers.Key Responsibilities:Creating and maintaining Project WBS structures and Sales Orders in SAP to support project executionProcessing order bookings and preparing projects for internal release in line with operational requirementsMaintaining accurate project master data and supporting project administration throughout the project lifecyclePreparing milestone completion certificates, customer milestone invoices, and commercial documentation in accordance with project payment schedulesProcessing customer invoices and executing SAP transactions, including Goods Receipts (GR), Goods Issues (GI), and other required activitiesSupporting bank guarantee requests and coordinating with Finance on the issuance, amendment, release, and tracking of bank guaranteesCoordinating shipment releases with ABB factories and Logistics while preparing and maintaining export and shipping documentation for Saudi Arabia, Qatar, and other MEA countries as requiredGenerating SAP reports, maintaining accurate project records, and supporting project reporting activitiesLiaising with Project Managers, Finance, Logistics, Procurement, and Factory teams to ensure customer and project requirements are met within agreed timelinesSupporting the Regional Project Manager with day-to-day project administration and commercial activities across the assigned MEA portfolioYou will join a collaborative and high-performing team, where you will be able to thrive.Qualifications:You are highly skilled in SAP and project order handling processes within the electrical manufacturing or project operations environmentYou have 2–5 years of experience in order handling, project administration, or commercial operationsWorking as an Order Handler, Project Coordinator, or Project Administrator is an advantagePossess an enhanced knowledge of SAP modules, including Sales Orders, WBS, Invoicing, GR/GI, PR/PO, and Project ReportingYou demonstrate a high level of accuracy and attention to detail in managing project documentation and SAP transactionsYou are passionate about accuracy, collaboration, and delivering excellent customer supportDegree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Engineering, or a related fieldYou are at ease communicating in English and ArabicExperience supporting projects across multiple countries within the Middle East and Africa region is an advantageWhat's in it for youWe want you to bring your full self to work—your ideas, your energy, your ambition.
