Processes
Acting as a focal point of contact between Head Office and Country CAD teams on matters related to CAD.
Preparing and reviewing various consolidated reports for CAD-International.
Overseeing loan documentation managed by Country CAD teams by periodic review of data maintained in GLCMS and Core Banking System.
Publishing reports on the data maintained in the systems and liaising with Country CAD teams on corrective actions.
Assisting Country CAD teams in drafting the CAD Standard Operating Procedures and liaising with Group Operational Risk for review and finalization.
Evaluating the efficacy of CAD Standard Operating Procedures and associated checks and control for Country CAD teams on an ongoing basis.
Reviewing the Country Audit reports and liaising with Country CAD teams in timely closure of internal and external audit observations.
Completing the annual Risk and Control Assessment exercise (RCSA) as required and performing control testing.
Maintaining and updating the Annual Business Continuity Plan (BCP) for the Unit, conducting Business Impact Analysis (BIA) and risk assessment to identify critical functions/processes.
Developing strategies and preventive control measures to mitigate credit and operational risks in CAD processes.
Administration
Conducting gap analysis and peer review of CAD processes and collating enhancement needs to better support Country CAD teams' requirements.
Preparation and periodic review of training manuals for Country CAD teams covering system and process.
Organizing and conducting semi-annual CAD Academy training sessions and conducting periodic system and functional training for international branches.
Arranging periodic communication forums with key stakeholders in Head Office and the international branches.
Attending fortnightly communication forums with CAD Cluster Heads and tracking action plans.
Conducting quarterly video conference calls with Cluster Heads, Country CAD teams and developing key action plans for tracking and implementation.
Systems
Representing CAD-International as a subject matter expert (SME) during various project implementations.
Collaborating with IT and CAD Projects team on system enhancements as and when requested from Country CAD teams.
Reviewing and signing off various system-related documents from a CAD perspective including BRDs, Design Documents, Solution Designs, and Migration Approach etc.
Carrying out User Acceptance Testing (UAT) on system enhancements and participating in data migration and validation exercises.
People
Responsible for upskilling, cross-skilling and enhancing the competency level of the team (product, system and process knowledge).
Evaluating staff training needs and liaising with FAB Business School to arrange training and refresher courses.
Responsible for ensuring the completion of mandatory training requirements for the team.
Responsible for developing SMART goals for the team.
Responsible for effective management of staff leaves and ensuring that adequate resources are available to ensure business continuity.
Ensuring timely performance feedback, recognition, and acknowledgement.
Undertaking all other roles and responsibilities assigned by the Head of CAD International from time to time.
