Job purpose
Supervise the grouting team to ensure that proper grouting work is conducted as per the procedures.
Responsible for maintaining grouting material and equipment.
Principal accountabilities
Onshore
Mobilize necessary grouting equipment and spares.
Ensure stock level of grouting hoses, fittings, spares, etc. is maintained and any shortfalls are reported immediately.
Inspect the jacket/structure to be grouted and report any shortfalls pertaining to grouting operation.
Familiarize with grouting procedure and client requirements.
Offshore
In charge of all grouting operations on-board the vessel and job site.
Full responsibility over grout riggers, grouting operators and grout supervisors assigned for the project.
In charge of issuing subordinates with the safety gear required for the job and controlling the supply of this gear.
In charge of applying approved procedures in line with client specifications.
Responsible for all grouting equipment and spares, ensuring that backup spares like hoses, fittings, etc. are available at all times.
In charge of crew safety, production and quality.
Conduct toolbox meetings with grouting crew and promote safety awareness among them.
Coordinate with plant workshop regarding maintenance work or modifications required to be carried out on the grouting equipment.
Fully responsible for grout system operation and operating grout triplex pumps.
Educational qualifications & certifications
Secondary school certificate with a discipline-specific technical qualification, or equivalent.
Relevant experience
Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in the oil & gas industry.
