Overview of the role
The Retail Sales Representative plays a crucial role in driving sales and ensuring a positive customer experience. Responsible for providing high-quality customer service, they support daily store operations and maintain visual and cleanliness standards. They contribute to the team's sales goals, assist with operational tasks as assigned by management, and take on responsibilities in the absence of the Store Manager.
What you will do
Customer service
Provide a high level of customer service at all times both internal and external, by being knowledgeable about the product categories and assisting customers professionally.
Greet customers immediately upon entering the store with a welcoming attitude.
Follow up with customers in a timely manner and sincerely thank them for shopping as they exit the store.
Capture customer information in the database for future engagement.
Store operations
Assist the Store Manager with daily operations, including opening and closing responsibilities.
Run the store in the absence of the Store Manager, covering all necessary operational duties.
Participate in and attend all store meetings and related functions.
Assume and complete other duties as assigned by store management.
Sales and product knowledge
Provide customers with relevant information about products and stay informed on product categories.
Meet or exceed weekly sales goals.
Offer gift cards and attempt to add on to sales during transactions.
Compliance and procedures
Ensure compliance with in-store procedures regarding pricing and ticketing to prevent loss.
Follow company policies and procedures rigorously.
Assist with inventories and contribute to an organized environment.
Housekeeping and presentation
Maintain store standards and cleanliness to create a sparkling, organized environment.
Perform housekeeping duties as needed and ensure visual presentation standards are met.
Team training and support
Train new staff on Point of Sale (POS) operations and manage corrective actions as necessary at the POS.

Ability to stand for long durations.
Strong understanding of fashion trends.

What qualifies you for the role
