Requirements
Bachelor's degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or related field (Master's preferred), with 10+ years in product management/software engineering and 3+ years of team leadership. Requires proven experience in full product lifecycle ownership, cloud platforms (AWS/Azure), APIs, microservices, data pipelines, integration, scalability, security, and Agile methodologies (Scrum/SAFe). Advantageous experience includes mobility, logistics, fleet, public-sector transport, IoT/Telematics, and TOGAF/cloud certifications.
Description
Role PurposeLead the product and engineering function with a strong focus on building market-ready IT products, developing digital platforms and solutions, and turning technology investments into commercially successful products and services.Key Responsibilities• Define and execute the IT product strategy and portfolio, identifying opportunities to develop new digital products and services. • Lead the end-to-end development of customer-facing digital products, including websites, platforms, applications, portals, and technology solutions. • Identify market needs and customer pain points and translate them into scalable, commercially viable IT products. • Assess technology and product opportunities and determine where and how to invest in IT products based on business value, market potential, cost, and expected ROI. • Develop product business cases, investment proposals, pricing models, and commercialization strategies. • Lead products from concept and design through development, launch, commercialization, and continuous improvement. • Establish product portfolios and roadmaps that balance customer demand, business priorities, technology capabilities, and investment returns. • Work closely with sales and commercial teams to position, package, and sell technology products and solutions to customers. • Define product value propositions and ensure solutions are competitive, scalable, and aligned with market requirements. • Monitor product performance, customer adoption, revenue, profitability, and ROI, using insights to guide future investment decisions. • Lead engineering teams to ensure products are built with the required quality, scalability, security, performance, and user experience. • Manage technology partners, vendors, and system integrators involved in product development and delivery. • Build and develop a high-performing product and engineering organization, fostering innovation, commercial thinking, and technical excellence.Qualifications• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field; master's preferred. • 10+ years of experience in product management and/or software engineering. • 3+ years of experience leading teams. • Proven experience owning the full lifecycle of a product or digital platform within a large and complex organization.Technical Expertise• Cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure. • APIs, microservices, data pipelines, and integration across legacy and modern technology environments. • Experience designing systems for scalability, high availability, and security. • Strong understanding of Agile delivery methodologies, including Scrum/SAFe, with the ability to operate within governance and OKR frameworks.Advantageous Experience• Experience in one or more of the following will be highly advantageous:• Mobility, logistics, fleet, or public-sector transport• IoT / Telematics• TOGAF or cloud certifications
